Wreath I Made

I thought I'd post a photo of the wreath I made from plants in our side yard. I used queen anne's lace for the base, then filled in with goldenrod, knapweed (small purple blossoms), wild lemon thyme, St. John's Wort (the reddish seed pods) and yarrow. Later on I added some dried dock which is dark brown. It's a bright addition to a room and smells great.

  3. Your wreath is wonderful.
don't you just love using what you already have at your fingertips?
God provides such beautiful treasures for us.

    re: closer to bee hives-
did not know if bees are sensitive to noise, and thought if i started to squeal with the excitement of a kid i might make them excited too. =0) Since people did not invite me to stay closer, i did not.
Must have been a wonderful experience to be a bee keeper.

Thanks for coming by, and yes, i did have a great birthday. =0)
